The Fleet Feet Sports staff is comprised of the most passionate individuals in running specialty. Their focus is centered around giving our guests the best possible experience time after time as well as ensuring  you achieve your needs in lifestyle, fit, customer service, training and product.


Christopher Trinidad – Floor Manager

Chris found his passion for running right before he started at Fleet Feet Sports. Working with the great team he has, it enables him to understand the running community so much better. He started off as a fitter and now trains new and existing employees at the store on a daily basis. He’s attending school at Seminole State College to become a PTA. Chris strives to learn new things every day at the store so he’s able to share the knowledge with people that surround him.

Brendan Mertz – Operations Manager

Brendan embodies some of the best natural abilities to make sure the store product operations are at their top level. A passion for running and keeping things in order brendan handle all of the back of the house operations for the store. In need of that special order or making sure all our product is in stock, that is Brendan. – USATF Level 1 coach


Brian Valle – FIT Advisor – Assistant Store Manager

Brian first joined Fleet Feet Orlando in 2009 while getting ready to be the best he could be as he attended the University of Florida. With his 4 year degree he wants to spend a bit of personal time here at Fleet Feet on the fit stool and then make his career move with passion and excitement.

Fleet Feet OrlandoKorene Hinds – FIT Advisor

Korene Hinds earned her Masters of Science in Education from Kansas State University.
Korene is best known as 3,000 metre Steeplechase athlete and part of the Beijing, and London olympic and Jamaican National Team. Now retired from her favorite sport,  Korene’s sponsorship included Puma and has 4 years of Fleet Feet in her background with Orlando and a store from Albuquerqe, NM.

Jennifer Ramey – Starting Line Kids Running Coach

Originally from Austin, Jen is a natural when it comes to being a people person and true gift for assisting others to achieve more. Jen did not know how much she loved running until she became entwined in the store culture. It is now her mission to show how Running Changes Everything!

Fleet Feet SportsJim Reed – FIT Advisor – Group Training Coordinator

Jim has a passion for running. He is a Mentor for our No Boundaries and Marathon Training Programs. Jim says, “I enjoy seeing a runner complete their first race and realize what they have accomplished.” Jim is an avid runner who has completed 15 marathons and numerous half-marathons. He qualified for and ran the 2011 Boston marathon.

Chris Porter – FIT Advisor – Communications and Media


Chris is a student at the University of Central Florida studying Communications and Markering. As a former collegiate lacrosse athlete Chris has been running for a number of years. Outside of running Chris stays active through a number of hobbies such as cycling, rock climbing and swimming.<a


Kelley Leonard – FIT Advisor – Lead Educator

Kelley became a member of the Fleet Feet Orlando team in 2013 looking to combine her love of running and natural ability to connect with people through the Fleet Feet community. She is a graduate of the Eckerd College class of 2013 with a degree in biology, and has a passion for helping people with ambitions to continue on to medical school. Kelley strives to better herself as a long distance runner and enjoys actively learning how to improve herself and others within the running community.


Lauren LaRoche – FIT Advisor

“As every runner knows, running is about more than just putting one foot in front of the other; it is about our lifestyle and who we are.” -Joan Benoit Samuelson

Lauren has been a runner for over 15 years and has brought her passion for the sport to Fleet Feet Orlando since 2013. Any day she can share her love of running with others is a good day. When she’s not pounding the pavement she’s most likely on her third cup of coffee, attempting (though not often successfully) to finish the NY Times crossword puzzle, and listening to 90s grunge rock.

Elizabeth Piperno – FIT Advisor



Elizabeth attends the University of Central Florida and is studying Foreign Language (Spanish) Education. Elizabeth has been a runner for about nine years. She now hopes to inspire others by starting to compete in triathlons on the UCF Tri team. Her motivation is to see others succeed and find a passion in running.

Certified personal trainer, NOBO graduate and 3-time NOBO mentor. Pat is in charge of making sure all the books and organizational filing is done at the store level. While unnoticed in the every day grind of the business from the sales floor, you cannot miss her as she is always there to inspire and assist coach Deb and the NOBO group. She makes sure to help develop new attitudes with all the beginners she meets.

Bryan Corkins – Boston 365 Coach/FIT Advisor

Team Member since 2009 – Western Michigan Alum. XC Coach and teacher at Lk Mary High School, Bryan is the valued asset for the coaching and training aspect from the store. In 2013 Bryan embarks on being the official Boston365 coach, which develops training for those qualified to run in the Boston Marathon.


Fleet Feet SportsDeb Nickerson – NO BOUNDARIES Coach

Deb is a UCF Grad and USATF Certified Coach. Deb inspires our NO BOUNDARIES participants to be their best and achieve their most sought after goals to learn to run and get to their first 5K. Deb is an avid runner and Triathlete and has graduated over 600 participants of the NO BOUNDARIES program in association with Fleet Feet Sports and New Balance.
