Greater Maitland 5K - October 4, 2008 7:30 AM

The 4th annual Greater Maitland 5k Run and Walk, is designed to be an uplifting community event by giving to one loc al charity in the Maitland community. The Run/Walk benefits New Hope for Kids, Central Florida Helpline and Shepherd’s Hope. We have established this event to contribute to the community and simultaneously raise awareness of people and families in need during the times of tragedy and grief.

Over 500+ family members, individuals, seasoned runners and w alkers will join together with their spectators on a beautiful sunny day and make a difference by attending this run / w alk! We have designed this speci al event for people of all ages to gather as one to run and w alk together for all the metro area to see! Pre-event activities will be staged at Orangewood Presbyterian Church, with the start line on Sandspur Road and the finish line on the property of Orangewood.

It is important to note that this event is the offici al property of Orangewood and is separately administered. The monies contributed from net proceeds of the event are presented directly to the New Hope for Kids, Shepherd’s Hope and Central Florida Helpline and is recognized at the appropriate sponsor level noted in the pages that follow. Sponsors are encouraged to supplement their sponsorship contribution with media and advertising campaigns to further promote the event. The specific sponsor levels are detailed in the following pages. Multi-year arrangements can be tailored as well.
